Walk In The Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 30, 2010:

Decisions await on every level — your attitudes and responses, whether or not to take an offense, financial decisions and stewardship, not to mention deciding the most productive way to spend your time and energy. Be sensitive to the choices you have before you and always choose what brings peace and life. If you ask for wisdom, I will give it and show you to best way, says the Lord. Walk in the Spirit.

Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus..

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Matthew 5.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for the outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Hold What You Value With An Open Hand!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Nov. 6, 2009:

Hold what you value with an open hand. If you try to possess it with a firm grasp, it will slip through your fingers. The earth is Mine and all that is in it, says the Lord. You cannot own what does not belong to you, and I continue to establish the concept of stewardship and not ownership in the hearts of My people. You, beloved, are only sojourners on the earth, not permanent residents. Your earthly existence is but for a moment. Keep eternal perspective. Let go, and yield to the work and moving of My Spirit.

Psalms 84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have thought, “What things may one hold tightly?”  Lord Jesus, please help one to surrender and sacrifice all things to you, in Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

One may have gone into the bathroom.  One began praising by song at 3:30 AM.  One confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed in tongues.  One may have begun to get sleepy during the last 15 minutes of one’s special time with Jesus.

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have been tired and had to fight through the tiredness.

Today, one’s son may have gotten married!  One may have had an awesome day!  Thank you Jesus!
