And, Do You Remember That You Will Reap What You Sow

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

There is an opening, a window of opportunity that will allow you to see and understand your stubborn resistance as a means to having things your way. In doing this you actually are pressuring those around you to reform in some way, which is a subtle form of manipulation. At the same time, you are finding it very difficult to move ahead because you continually encounter those who are also resistant to you. And, do you remember that you will reap what you sow? Take this opportunity now to let go of your own stubbornness so that you can have breakthrough, says the Lord.

1 Samuel 15:23a For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

Watch For And Take Advantage Of Opportunities To Defeat A Haughty Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Watch for and take advantage of opportunities to defeat a haughty spirit. These opportunities will come suddenly in various situations and circumstances, but you can quite easily gain the victory by clothing yourself with humility. For indeed, I give grace to the humble, says the Lord. I will empower you to defuse explosive situations by manifesting the fruit of the Spirit. The haughty spirit is a weapon and even a stronghold formed against you, but the weapons I have given you are more subtle and powerful.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.

One may have begun to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, prayed for the sick and thanked the Lord.

Watch For The Signs, For Breakthrough Is Surely Coming

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/23/2010:

I had a vision of a beaver dam as it slowly began to leak and then the full force of the water pushed through to destroy the dam. And, I heard the Lord say: Watch for the signs, for breakthrough is surely coming. The power of My Spirit will work in you to bring down strongholds that have hindered the flow of your anointing for some time. Rejoice in this great and yet subtle and supernatural work.

Isaiah 45:2-3 I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

One may have awakened late.  One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have gone back to bed.  One may have been so tired.  One may have asked Jesus to forgive one.

While in bed one may have attempted to confess one’s sins and may have fallen asleep.

The dog may have awakened one a little later; it may have wanted to go outside.  One may have taken the dog out.  While outdoors, one may have begun to confess one’s sins.

Once back inside one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

This evening one may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today and may have been led to 1 Chronicles 11.  Thank You Jesus!

Beloved, You Are On Assignment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 30, 2010:

Beloved, you are on assignment. Stay awake, be alert, and maintain a high level of awareness and spiritual focus. Refuse to allow distractions or emotional reactions to cloud your vision or perceptions. Pay attention to the gentle nudge of My Spirit that will give insights to your present spiritual environment. As soon as there is a disruption or a disturbance of your peace, deal with it immediately. The enemy’s current maneuvers are subtle, but if you pay attention you will see his tactics at once and stop his intrusion, says the Lord. Wage a good warfare.

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare.

Stay Close To Me And Do Nothing Apart From My Leading

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 10, 2010:

Beware of those who desire or require your attention. Exercise discernment to know whether or not I am sending them to you. If I’m not sending them, it will be a subtle distraction that will drain you to the dregs. Guard your parameters carefully, and let no one violate your spiritual boundaries. Stay close to Me and do nothing apart from My leading, says the Lord. Your spiritual vitality depends on your obedience.

Acts 17:26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, “For we are also His offspring.”

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged and glad for the help.  One may be on the lookout.  Thank you Jesus!

One may wonder about an event that may take place in the near future.  One may have hesitated before confirming.  One’s initial response was to decline.  Upon hearing the purpose, one may have changed one’s mind and confirmed one’s attendance.

Lord Jesus, please have your way at this event.  Please lead one in all things while there, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 1.  Thank you Jesus!

Today may have been one’s last day at physical therapy.  One had not expected it to end today.  One may not have known how to feel concerning one’s therapy ending suddenly.  One’s ankle may be getting better but may not be 100 percent.  One may believe that this may be the Lord’s doing.  If not, Lord please have your way in this situation, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.
