Nothing Is Impossible With Me, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Beloved, I will give you eyes to see and ears to hear as I lead you forth in kingdom purpose. Be aware, however, that the enemy will challenge your spiritual position and tempt you with doubt in order to keep you earthbound instead of walking in the Spirit. Refuse to give in to any attacks that would cause you to feel unworthy of spiritual gifting. Be strong and resolute in seeking Me for revelation. Nothing is impossible with Me, says the Lord.

Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

Have Faith In Me To Show You The Way, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/26/11:

Watch for key opportunities to overcome in areas that have represented a lack of confidence and failure. Now is a time when you can break through to higher ground, but you must not give in to the doubt and fear that the enemy will tempt you with. Instead, you must completely rely on Me to give you wisdom and direction. Have faith in Me to show you the way, says the Lord.

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Refuse To Look At What You Don’t Have Instead Of Being Grateful For What You Do Have

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/25/2010:

Beloved, this is a time when you must refrain from comparing yourself to others. The enemy’s desire is to tempt you to open a door for his access by focusing on your lack. Refuse to look at what you don’t have instead of being grateful for what you do have. This is a snare and a trap that will take you down to the pit of discouragement and depression. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

One may have awakened early.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought about the word “pit” and may have been disturbed by the Lord’s choice of words.  “Pit” may refer to hell.  One may have thought that one may need to make a quick attitude change in one’s behavior lately.  One may take heed and  have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 48.  Thank You Jesus!

Now Is The Time To Establish And Maintain Good Boundaries

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 4, 2010:

Beloved, watch for the enemy to either tempt you to get involved in situations that are none of your business, or he will tempt others to violate your boundaries by not minding their own business. Either situation will create problems that you will ultimately not like to deal with. Now is the time to establish and maintain good boundaries, says the Lord.

Proverbs 26:17 He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears.

Count Your Blessings And Be Thankful

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 27, 2010:

The enemy has set out to tempt you to be distracted from My purposes and perspective. Distraction can easily become obsession by focusing on one aspect of your life. You have been called to be good stewards of what you’ve been given and what you’ve been given to do, and those areas of your life all need the attention they deserve. Refuse to allow obsession to overwhelm you and pervert your perspective. Remember to count your blessings and be thankful, says the Lord.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

Upon Entering one’s prayer closet, one may have praised the Lord, Confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Isaiah 18.  Thank You Jesus.

Beloved, Be Slow To Anger And Quick To Forgive

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 13, 2010:

Beloved, be slow to anger and quick to forgive. I tell you the truth that the enemy has released forces of darkness against you to tempt you to be offended. But, you must stand in a place of forgiveness and not open the door through carnal responses to what other’s have done. Remember that you will reap what you sow; if you are offended with others, you will become offensive. Release all resentment and extend mercy, says the Lord.

James 1:19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

One may have overslept this morning.  One may have gone to bed after 12:00 AM this morning.  One may have been exhausted.  One may have apologized to the Lord before going to sleep.  One may have known in one’s heart that one would not awaken for one’s special time with Jesus.

To one’s dismay it may have been a little before 6:00 AM before one would be awakened by one’s daughter.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged.  One may have thought to just pray and confess tomorrow morning.

Later this morning, one may have attempted to praise the Lord, confess one’s sins and pray for the outstanding prayer requests online.  One may have done so with interruptions.

One may have just prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Ecclesiastes 9.  Thank You Jesus!

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

You Have Come This Far, Do Not Turn Back

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 6, 2010:

I kept hearing in my spirit the phrase “point of no return”. The point of no return is defined as the point beyond which you must continue on your current course of action, either because turning back is physically impossible or because to do so would be prohibitively expensive or dangerous. It is also used when the distance or effort required to get back would be greater than the remainder of the journey or task undertaken. And, I heard the Lord say: Even though fear of the unknown outcome of your present course would tempt you to go back to what seems safe or familiar, you must press on. To not press on would mean spiritual stagnation. The challenges you face in the days ahead will give opportunity for greater wisdom, strength and stability than you could ever have imagined. You have come this far; do not turn back.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

One may have overslept.  One may have read the Spririt of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may not have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have been detained and proceeded to praise the Lord.

One may have confessed one’s sins but never completed one’s confessions.  One may have slipped into a day of rebellion, old habits and ways.  It may have started at the beginning of this week and progressed more and more each day.

There may not be a scripture for today; one may not have prayed for one.  One may not have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests.

Please Lord forgive one’s many sins, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.
