Arise Today

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 10/10/11:

Arise today. No longer assume the position of a beggar. Arise as a son of God. Arise to new strength. Arise to a position of new faith. Arise to a position of power and confidence, for such is yours in the kingdom of God. For, My kingdom is a kingdom of strength, a kingdom of power, and kingdom of joy. It is a kingdom in which you should establish your rights; the right to be healed, the right to be provided for, the right to be delivered and the right to receive the strength and joy of the Lord. Allow My peace to become your peace that you may abide in peace in these days of tribulation, in these the days of the heartache of humanity, in these days of the overturning of the power of man and the establishing of the power of the kingdom of the Most Holy. So, arise, My children. Go up now and become the kings of this age, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 10/10/11:

I have indeed set before you opportunities and choices. I would have you choose according to life, truth, and faith. Consider the outcome of your decisions and move in the direction that will bring light and not darkness. Ask for wisdom to choose wisely, says the Lord, for I will give you what you need. Activate your faith, and trust Me in all things.

Psalm 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Proverbs 6 – Dangerous Promises.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

I Say To You, Examine The Nonsense In Your Thinking

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 1/10/2010:

I say to you, examine the nonsense in your thinking.  For I say, indeed, many of you are occupied with nonsense.   But, I would have you choose to believe and receive that which I am bringing and imparting rather than leaning on your own understanding.  Reflect on and examine your thoughts, attitudes and  motives.  Then, turn your eyes upon the heavenlies and the glory that I am releasing and the revelation of My purposes.  My purposes for you are not to muddle around in the things of the world, but for you to ascend on high and live in the realm of heavenly experience.  For the kingdom itself is now demanding that you live within self-restraint.  You must now begin to live the Christian life in a new and profound way, in a glorious way; thinking upon heavenly things, and upon those things which I have spoken to you rather than being absorbed in the trauma of your own life or in judgmentalism, jealousy or the tribulation that your negative thinking brings you into.  So rise and come higher, says the Lord, and let the wind of My Spirit move you, and let the anointing of My word perfect you, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/10/2010:

Beloved, I want you to be a gatekeeper and a watchman over your environment. This is a position of spiritual discernment so that you allow only the things that build up and not the things that tear down. I would have you to be on high alert and aware so that you have holy precision in knowing what comes in and what goes out. I have given you absolute authority to accept or reject those things that affect your spiritual atmosphere, says the Lord.

Isaiah 21:6 For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.”

One may have awakened a little after 2:30 AM.  One may have looked outside to see if there may have been snow.  There may not have been any snow whatsoever.

One may have busied oneself on the Internet.  One may have checked for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin sometime after 3 AM.  It may not have been there.  One may have checked just before going into one’s prayer closet.  The Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have been in one’s e-mail inbox.

One may have read the message for today and may have found oneself nodding and saying “Okay” to Jesus.  One may have known that one may be guilty of these very things.  One may have been encouraged.  One may desire to walk upright before the Lord.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Proverbs 5.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have left one’s prayer closet and may have looked outside.  There may have been snow.  Lord, please help those who may be traveling today in the snow to reach their destinations safely in Jesus’ name, one may pray, Amen.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

I Say Learn This Day To Live In My Joy And In My Peace For Times Of Tribulation Are Coming To This World

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Dec. 21, 2009:

I say, though your heart condemn you, am I not greater than your heart? I am the Lord most high and I have not come to condemn you. I have come to lift you up; to guide you; to fill you with My joy, peace and love. I have come to give you revelation knowledge and to teach you and to guide you through the turmoil of this world. My children, I say learn this day to live in My joy and in My peace for times of tribulation are coming to this world. The tribulation that is coming has been written about so it should not be a surprise to anyone. Times will become hard and plagues shall abound and wars and rumors of wars shall exist. I say look at these things not in fear or anxiety but rather look at them and say these are a sign of the coming of the Lord Most High. As you see these things coming upon the earth let your joy abound and rejoice for the end comes and the glory will manifest, says the Lord. It is written that I will have a church without spot or wrinkle. I will have a glorious people — those who learn to live and abide in the presence of My anointing and glory. I am about to reveal those hidden mysteries that you long to know. The inner workings of the kingdom of God Almighty will be revealed in these last days to a people, a chosen generation, to those who desire Me with all of their heart, mind and soul, those who love Me beyond the circumstances of their lives and abide in Me. Abide under the shadow of My out stretched wings, says the Lord. There you will find comfort for your soul and energy for your spirit. In My presence there comes a refreshing; renewal and great joy will be yours in these days if you will abide, says the Most High.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 21, 2009:

I am not a God who cannot see or understand the tests and trials that you have endured. I see, and I have sustained you through the trouble, for I am with you. And now, today, I pronounce a blessing on you — a tangible blessing; just open your heart to receive, says the Lord.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

One may have awakened this morning after 2:00 AM and wrote in one’s log.  One may not have realized that several days had gone by since one’s last entry.  One may have read the Bible.  One may have opened to 1 Samuel 12.  One may have taken this passage of scripture as a warning for oneself.  One may have laid down to get more rest before one special time with the Lord.

The alarm may have gone off at 3:00 AM.  One may have reset it for 3:20 AM.  Shortly thereafter, one may have helped with preparing a bottle for the baby.  One may have decided to stay up at that point.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for this morning.

One may have started one’s prayer time with Jesus at 3:30 AM.  One began with praises to the Lord with song.  One may have spent the remainder of the time confessing one’s sins.  One may have found oneself, daydreaming and getting off track a lot. One may have been distracted and may know that it may be a trick of the enemy.  One may have prayed for help to stay focused.  One may have pressed on.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have been dozing off while praying.  Wow!  One may not have known that one was so tired.  Weird!  After one finished, one may have laid down and one may not have felt so tired after-all.  One may have prayed for the sick.  As one prayed, one began to doze off, one would wake up and continue praying.  One finally got through one’s prayer and went to sleep.

Lately, one may not have stepped up to the plate concerning one’s assignments that one may be working on.  One may have taken an unofficial break and wasted a lot of time this past week.

The area where one’s tooth was pulled may have opened up.  One may take medication as needed and try to keep the opening clean.  One may hope that one may not have to return to the dentist office.  So far, one may be doing okay and feeling no pain at this moment.

One may be back from wherever one may have gone this past week.  One may be gearing up and ready for the challenge.

Thank you Jesus!

A Child-Like Faith!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — November 2, 2009:

Defilement has come to your faith because of the trials, tribulation, hardships, disappointments and failures that you have endured. A supernatural life will be restored if you will cleanse yourself from this defilement of your faith. The work that I am presently doing among My people is a restoration of faith – in purity and innocence (a child-like faith). This innocence of faith will produce a strong faith that is not hindered by your past. The apostle Paul tells you what is required to accomplish this process.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

This you must do so that your faith can become strong and pure. This beginning again will remove the defilement that has stained your faith. My church will be a supernatural church in the last days, says the Lord. My church will be a glorious church; a faith-filled people will demonstrate the power of My kingdom. So, begin today by positioning yourself to receive this work of Mine. Live the supernatural life, The war has been long, but now comes the victory, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — November 2, 2009:

Beloved, I am relieving you of obligations that have kept you from walking in the liberty of My Spirit. And, I am removing the guilt that others have imposed upon you that kept you from the freedom that I wish for My children. This is a new day and even the beginning of a new era. I will lead you on the path of liberation in this season if you are willing to let go of the limitations and bondages of the past, says the Lord. Trust Me!

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

One may have awakened early this morning.  One may have realized the clocks went back one hour.  One adjusted the time on the microwave.  One logged onto one’s computer.  One may have gone to various sites.  One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin just before one’s praise and worship time.

One may have begun one’s praise time at 3:30 AM.  One may have cleaned the bathroom while one sang praises to the Lord.  When one finished praising with song; one confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and spoke in tongues.  One prayed for outstanding prayer requests after logging onto the website a little after 4:30 AM.

One’s right foot may not be swollen at all; it may be healed.  Thank you Jesus!  One’s left foot may feel really good; it may still be in a short leg cast

One may have done one’s assignment given to one by the Lord on Friday.  One thought that by doing this thing that one may make one’s foot injury worse.  Actually, one’s foot may seem better, it may not have felt this good in a long time.  There may be some pain present, yet it may have lessened a great deal.

One may have gone to the dental clinic at the hospital today.  One may have had one’s wisdom tooth pulled.  One prayed for a friend whom one ran into on one’s way to the clinic.  The individual may have shared that they were taking high blood pressure medicine and it made them feel weird.  One prayed for the Lord to heal them of high blood pressure.  The individual may have shared that they did not have high blood pressure; they have diabetes.  The doctor put them on this medication to help the diabetes.  One then prayed for their diabetes to be healed.

One may have shared with the individual a recent testimony one had watched from the Late Frances Hunter where the Lord had healed Frances of diabetes and gave her a new pancreas.  One’s friend may have said, “God can heal anything.” One may have been impressed by the individual’s level of faith.

One may have prayed for an individual with a toothache in the waiting room.  One prayed for a blue 100 and a MERT alert victim that was announced over the loud speaker.  Thank you Jesus!  One prayed for one’s mouth to be healed in the name of Jesus soon after the tooth had been pulled.

One may have talked with the receptionists.  One of the individual’s went to school with one’s older sister and knew one’s family.  One may have shared one’s story with these individuals.

One may have left the clinic and was standing in front of the elevators.  One decided to go back and talk with the physician who had pulled one’s tooth.  One may have been so pleased with the procedure that one wanted the individual to treat one’s remaining tooth where the crown came off a root canal.  The doctor suggested that one come back in a week and that it would be taken care of then.  Thank you Jesus!

While walking in the parking lot, one noticed that one was in the wrong row.  One cut between the cars and one’s car may have been right in front of one.  Thank you Jesus!

When one arrived home, one decided to go to Wal-Mart to get Ibuprofen to help with pain or swelling that might occur.  The Novocain had begun to wear off and one did not know what to expect.  The area where one’s tooth had been pulled seemed sensitive and one could feel the roughness of sterile gauzes one had to replace over the wound every half an hour.

While at the store, one got the Ibuprofen and had picked up a few other items as well.  While at the check out counter, one proceeded to pay for the items; one realized that one had forgotten one’s bankcard at home.  One was too put out.  Realizing that there was not any others alternatives but to leave and go home, one may have said to the cashier, “I just had my tooth pulled; I’m not coming back.”

While in the car, one may have called home and spoke with one’s son about what had occurred.  One’s son offered to go back to the store for one.

When one got home, dinner may have been ready.  One’s diet was supposed to be soft foods.  One may have eaten homemade mashed potatoes; they were really good.  One may have gotten several helpings.  One looked at the baked chicken and thought, “Well, I could cut it up real fine.”  One decided to eat the chicken; one did not cut it up, one ate it just the way it came off the bone.  The chicken may have been so good that one decided to eat another piece.

One may have decided that one did not need any pain medication.  One may not be in pain; one may be fine.  Thank you Jesus, The Great Physician!
